Greetings!

Welcome to the CAPA e-News! In this day and age, staying in touch with family and friends can be a challenge. We're hoping that the e-News can do just that -- stay in touch with YOU.

CAPA brings together people of Asian descent and others who are interested in learning more about Asian Americans, their culture and heritage. CAPA is also commited to promote well-being of Asian Americans. I'd like to extend a personal invitation to you to join us at our next meeting. All of our meetings are open to anyone who'd like to come. Please check out Calendar of Events for details.

Warmly,
Katherine M. Lee
President

We, the people behind CAPA and our affliated organizations are moved to help these people begin the enormous task of rebuilding their lives.

CAPA has helped to organize a fun evening of wine tasting, unique presentations and even a silent auction of unique items as a fundraiser supporting SOS Children's Villages and American Red Cross. Click here for more information about SOS Children's Villages and what they are doing in the relief effort.

You and your organization are most welcome to do what you can and partner with us.

We thank the Korean American Cultural Center for graciously hosting ALL of our meetings.

CAPA's Coalition Humanitarian Committee has made many new friends in putting this fundraiser together, and we at CAPA are simply amazed by the level of support Metro-Detroit area organizations have shown for the survivors of this disaster in the Indian Ocean.

Thank you to all who have contacted us in support of this fundraiser, please attend and bring lots of friends!!
